The Institute proposes to fill up one position of Librarian created in the Pay Scale of 9300-34800 Grade Pay 5400/- on contract/deputation basis for a period of 2 years on the basis of All India Competition.

Eligibility

Interested candidates within the age group of 21-50 having Master’s degree in Library & Information Science with 55% marks from a recognized University and 3 years of relevant experience in handling Library work (post qualification) from any Government/ recognized Institution may apply to the Director, JKEDI, Pampore, Kashmir / Ground Floor, JLN Udhyog Bhawan Rail Head Complex, Jammu on prescribed format available against a cash payment of Rs. 100/- at JKEDI, Pampore, Kashmir and Ground Floor, Jawaharlal Nehru, Udhyog Bhawan, Railhead Complex on all working days from 31.01.2018. The forms can be downloaded from the Institute’s website www.jkedi.org as well.

How to apply:

Application Forms complete in all respects, supported by the photocopies of all certificates, testimonials and accompanied by a Bank Draft of Rs. 1000/- (non-refundable) drawn in favour of”Director, J&K Entrepreneurship Development lnstitute”should reach the office of the Institute at Pampore, Kashmir / Ground Floor, JLN Udhyog Bhawan, Railhead Complex by or before 10.02.2018. Downloaded forms should be accompanied by a Demand Draft of Rs. 1100.00/-.

The experience Certificates should be supported by the Bank Account statement reflecting therein the salary credited for the period of previous job(s).

The candidates appointed on contract shall be entitled to a consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 30,000/-

In-service candidates shall submit their application form through proper channel and the appointment of such candidate shall be governed by the terms and conditions acceptable to both the lending and borrowing Organizations.

In case, the number of applicants is large, eligible candidates shall have to undergo a screening test. In order of merit in the Screening test, candidates in the ratio of 1:10 will be called for Objective and Descriptive test related to domain knowledge. On the basis of the merit in the test, candidates in the ratio of 1:5 will be called for viva-voce and cumulative merit in the written test and Viva-voce will determine the final selection.

No TA/DA shall be paid for appearing in the Test / Viva-voce.
